GRANT WRITING
I love helping artists and non-profits create and fund projects that are close to their hearts.
I am a professional writer and editor and American Film Institute-trained screenwriter with over 20 years experience writing across mediums, from film, TV and digital series to grant writing and magazine journalism. As a filmmaker, writing and obtaining grants is how I fund most of my projects. I have helped clients write successful grants for Telefilm, Ontario Creates, the Bell Fund, the Independent Production Fund, the Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council and CALQ.
In the not-for-profit space I have written successful grants for funding bodies including The Trillium Foundation, Canadian Heritage and the Canada Council for the Arts.
My services include: researching available grants and writing them for clients, managing annual grant “action plans” and story editing and coaching services for creatives. To date I have written successful grants for over $2.75 million in funding.
